TERMINAL HANDLING CHARGE (THC)

NOTE:
To avoid confusion, TSA no longer posts its guideline terminal handling charges for Asian origin countries.

THCs are intended to recover charges paid by shipping lines for port terminal services in Asia. They vary by terminal at many ports, and are negotiated by individual lines and terminal operators. As a result, lines have increasingly chosen to adjust their THCs on an individual basis.

Customers are advised to consult with their carriers for the latest updated charges.
